Rat Race

This is kind of a combination of the last two comics — I merged the style of insect dating comic with the demotivational theme of the plane crash comic.

I really liked how the style of the insect strip turned out. My main focus while drawing that one was the colors, but I was surprised by how much the sketchy backgrounds enhanced the comic. I’m generally very impatient so I struggle with backgrounds, and the drawings often feel unfinished to me. Hopefully these simple backgrounds are a step in the right direction.🤞🤞
